Tungsten Carbide (TC) is used at high temperatures due to its high wear resistance. It is commonly used on ferrous and non-ferrous materials including cast iron, nickel alloys and stainless steel.
SDS-Plus shanks are similar to SDS drills, but sustain the extra torque provide by the plus drills. The shank is constructed of two open and two closed grooves to accommodate a 40mm drill chuck. They have a 10mm shank.
