Alumina silicate provides a fine finish on the workpiece during medium-duty applications. They are softer and finer than aluminum oxide.They are used for cutting iron, bronze, cast iron, steel and aluminum.
Straight wire filaments do not flare out of the cup as much as knotted or crimped wires. They are used for deburring and finishing surfaces.
